Question 1965 and 1970 Mustang Fastback question Need Help!

Hi,

I can't decide if I want to sell my complete 65 Fastback - with the 23 mpg inline six for a dismantled by complete 70 Mach 1 from a friend of mine. I can get the 70 for about $3000.00. The 65 is an older restoration in good condition and the 70 has had frame and floor restoration but has a numbers matching V8? Does anyone have any suggestions? I like both body styles - I had a 69 and 71 fastback when I was 17 in 79, but do not have the room for both today.
Check out my pics in my web page profile for the 65.

Thanks a lot.

Joe

man that car is sweet! i like the 65 fastbacks but also really liek the 70's hehe. i'd try and get a buddy to store the 65 or 70 and have both lol. the gas prices aren't going down anytime soon i think and i think its hard to get rid of a reliable, or at least, car that u know what the problems are, for something that could be a nightmare. if one of them was stored u could drive the mach and make your decision later on after u get to know both cars and decide which u like. i've sold cars that i still kick myself over and not cuz they were killer cars (70 maverick 200cid auto kinda rusty, everyone else hated it). either way i don't think u can lose to badly but i'd try storage? good luck
