i dont want to offend you but 275 hp may be pushing it, the issues with small block fords has always been no torque, so you have to spin them up in rpm to get them to make hp, i helped a friend rebuild an old boss 302 completely, raised the compression to approximately 12/1 then installed a set of original gap/roush heads on it, then a bud moore intake, then a holley 850 worked, then we dyno'd it in the neighborhood of 500 h.p. thats it , he has been shifting it at around 8500 rpm, so dont let anyone overinflate numbers
