Default Looking for book on building hi-po small block engines?

My dad had a bookin the late 60's that had info on building hi-po small block engines. One example was a 289 with pop-up pistons and 351w heads that my dad built. This combo put 335hp to the ground and had 12.5 to 1 compression naturally aspirated. The book gave all the part numbers from Ford to build the engine. All the parts could be bought over the counter from Ford. My dad has no idea what happened to the book. If anyone out there has any info about a book of this type I would appreciate the response. Thank you.

Sounds like Mustang & Ford Small Block V8, 1962-1969 by Bob Mannel. If not check out the performance books listed in our Product Reviews Section.
