Default 1967 Muatang Coupe

well the one being hit is me and the one doing the hitting it my 67 Mustang. go figure. but anyway i just bought a 67 stang coupe with a 351w in it well thats what they told me i can't find the Numbers to verify that yet.. and for the Trans im still scratching my head! i have a lot of work to do, with not a lot of room to do it in as for the 351 touches the sidewalls, and anyone know if there suppose to? and how do i fix it. but the real test is the Wiring I'm not sure what I'm suppose to have or what I'm not to have, i know i have AC and a heater which i took out and am looking for replacements. and i just went through my second speed'o cable the speedO kept bouncing and then broke the speedO arm and shattered the cable Gear so now i just drive behind people instead of passing them . as for the suspension I'm clueless i know it had a 289 2v in it but I'm not sure if i need to beef up the suspension due to the 351W? being in it? will it make that much difference?.and I'm having some trouble finding parts in good shape for a 67 due the big 351 can i use other newer years or will that mess things up further? well that's it for know my hands are cramping up, any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jam44

Default 351 Windsor or Cleveland

I dropped a 1974 351 Cleveland in my first 67 coupe with my neighbor back in the summer of 83 there were no problems with the wire harness that I recall the install was done in a couple of hours. The tranny you have has to be a C6 they come stock with all big blocks. As far as the supension goes I did not change a thing and my coupe had a 289 2v originally. If you want to do it right I would upgrade the springs and shocks depends on your budget.
