Default Where would you put your $$$ 69 Mach 1 or 69 GT 390

Hi all I am looking into a project car & came across a 69 Mach 1 351W 2V factory A/C auto Blue & a 69 GT 390 4V 4 speed Black on Black. I am going nuts trying to see where I should sink my $$$ they both need full restorations. So they will cost pretty much the same to redo the body, I noticed where there is a difference is in the interior, the Mach is more costly to redo. So I would like any info conserning values of latest sales or rearity of GT's.

Thx

Value is about the same, 12 to 40G's depending on options and condition.
The Mach will get you more "cool" points but the big block would be hard to pass up. Any chance of getting them both? Hard choice!

Big block stangs rule!! If the Mach was a big block that would be a no brainer, so get the GT.

I'd go with the GT. The seem a little bit more hard to come by.

Go with the GT. Last year for GT's (till 1982) and are more rare than Mach 1's (72,000+ vs around 4,000+ fastback GT's built). Plus big blocks are even more rare. THe GT is a double winner.

um, 5,396 GT's were made, When they wrote the Mustang Recognition guide, they could not track down a 1969 GT to photograph, so they used a drawing! As for the S-Code, 10,494 were made, and IF it has deluxe interrior, it is also one of 5,958
