Any color except RED! To many red Mustangs out here. You would think that is the only color they came in. Instaed of caspian blue think about nightmist blue its a great color.

I gotta agree on the nightmist blue. I saw a nightmist blue coupe with a thin red pinstripe...one of the most striking, understated, classy cars I've ever seen.

I'll third nightmist blue. OTOH The most mindblowing combo I ever saw was Silversmoke Grey with a full red interior and TT2s.

But please, god anything but red or black!

I'm going with Nightmist on my 66 FB and restoring the original Blue and White pony interior, I had planned to remove the rocker panel trim pieces, I don't really care much for them but was worried about a solid color without contrast. The red pinstripe sounds interesting. How did they run it and what color was the interior on it? Hummnnn, gotta do some thinking now....

I say sunlit gold....wow is that color a show stopper or what.

Of the ones you listed, I would say "Springtime yellow exterior with black interior" would look best. However, you may want to think about the nightmist blue and black combo. That would look very nice.

Paint can be cheap 300 dollars to 3 grand. Why would you want to make a convertible a hard top its worth more as a convertible sell it and buy a coupe.

this one has my vote. these is the color scheme of my car. it's a bit old and needs to be repainted but i like the caspian blue. a lighter interior wouldn't be bad though either.

My 67 F/B is black/black with a white C stripe. It's nice, but if I had to do it over, my choice would be a VERY dark, small grain metallic green with a parchment interior. I remember it was a color combination that was available on the old 67/68 Mercury XR7's. It was beautiful and very, very classy.

I say go with ivy green or something close. When I told people thats the way I was going they all laughed, but when it was done they couldn't quit looking at it. Its a unique color these days and will stand out. Of course the new Bullitt in dark green doesn't hurt the trend either.

But of your options I would say caspian blue - not many of those and I like the unique ones
