I am about to buy these two 69 Mustang coupes and I just find it somewhat funny to see the different options that the original two owners chose when they bought the cars in 68/69.
On the surface they are relatively the same car. Both 1969 Ford Mustang coupe. Both 302 2v engine & 3 speed auto
trans. Then come the color differences & options....
Car 1 = White Exterior & Red Kiwi Interior
Car 2 = Red Exterior & Black Interior
Car 1 = Power steering, power brakes w/front disc,non-trak loc 8" rear with 2.89:1 gears.
Car 2 = Manual steering, power brakes (all drum), trak loc 8" rear with 3.00:1 gears, air conditioning.
Now the deal with these two cars incase some of you are wondering. The red one has been "junked" by the current owner, seeing as how it has extensive damage to the driver side quarter panel. The white one "had the number 1 cylinder go out" and was parked with the plan of fixing it, 10 years ago.
I figure between the two I could have a fairly nice cruiser with the luxury of power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning and yet keep it sort of "stock" using original 69 Mustang parts...Ah many ideas. lol
