How old are you? Try to get your "father" involved in this forum!

You might inform your dad that a stock original FB is worth enough money to finanace you education and he really shouln't get rid of it so quick. Appeal to his reasonable side. Convince him of the wisdom of an "investment" mustang...may not be the answer to your problem but it may buy you time. Bottom line though is that if the car is in dad's name and you are a minor....oh well. Once you are on your own you can always get another...not the answer you want I'm sure but you may just have to resign yourself to it...good luck.

Also why is father in quotations? If it's your step Father you might appeal to mom. If He is perhaps no relation and the car is in your name then he has no right to sell it. If that is a problem and it is your car go store it at a friends house until you can work something out.

..........just checked your profile, at nineteen you are a leagle adult...if the car is yours he can't sell it. If it is in his name you may be out of luck...offer to buy it. If it is in your name and he tries to sell it get a lawyer.

Could that just be an 'excuse' and there's really another reason? Most engines "eventually die" (or have some sort of problem - don't we all as we age?!) and how does he know it will be "real soon"??
