 Anyone seen or made a custom center console?
So I am getting close to start thinking about my interior on 67 coupe. I already have my seat covers and headliner all lined up and ready to go. I will need to fix a cowl leak first, replace floor pans (done this before on my 68) and buy new carpet. I was sitting and reading one of my many Mustang Mags when I saw a very nice green boss, owned by a girl that had what appeared to be a custom console. Made me think about making something similar for my 67 coupe.
While most of you will probably think the original ford center console is the way to go, i persoanlly would rather have something functional and with an armrest. The ones that NPD and Cal-Mustang carry are also to generic looking (the hump hugger).
I essentially want to know if anyone has had their own made or made their own, any pics or ideas I can use as well as tips on this project. Iwont be starting it for a little while, but I would like to be prepared before jumping into it. Thanks for any advice guys.
