Smile Need some color ideas...

Most of you know what I have and now I am just about ready for paint. I would love to hear about some color ideas for my stang. If you have pics. I would love to see them.

As allways, thanks.

Be original...paint it something other than red.

Dads 71 Toy, here's a link to all the colors available on your Mustang in 1971. This will show you the other colors your car came in.

I have the same feeling as Preacher, when I find my Next Mustang to work on I want to paint it either green, yellow, or orange. At the shows around where I am it seems everyone has painted thier cars either red, maroon or black, Mustang or not. I personally find it boring looking at all these simialar cars. I'm glad my current Mustang is Acapulco blue, it stands out.

I found a link to a car painted the Medium Lime color (code #4) on that paint chip set, http://www.limited600mustang.com/9T02F202605.jpg

Bottom line is it's your choice though, chose a color that you like and will be happy with, no matter what others say.

[EDIT] Here I found a better example of colors that your car came in, all show with 71 models like yours so it'll be easier for you to see exactly what your car will look like in a chosen color.

Hopefully a 1969 convertible or Sportsroof (non Mach or Boss) for next Mustang project

Trying to find my father's 1973 Mustang Grande he bought brand new. 3F04F126773 last known registration and title was in New Jersey, 1982.

those are some great color sites, I am looking at colors too, liked the light metallic pewter with black stripes. Those are the colors I am looking at.
