Depends, some panels are so thin (china mostly) that you can bend them just by looking at them.

Your best bet are aftermarket panels made with the original ford stamping molds. Most of them will have the "Ford" logo in the box as true reproduction parts.

The dynacorn-made 69-70 shells are excellent, near perefect. Dynacorn can give you a list of dealers, expect to pay about 300ea.

Here's dynacorns dealer finder if you want to do some more looking.

Here are some OK pics of how they fit (there were specific pics to show how they fit but they're gone)

PS: I'm not the worlds biggest fan of year one but the price seems right

perfect fit, great pics thanks again,my Mach has been sitting in the garage like 18 years, its my sleeping beauty she needs so much work,I ordered a three inch fiberglass cowl hood ,got it yesterday really nice quality, looks great got it from mustang plus,i think thats their name, only 360.00,not bad for the quality, has a nice front3/4in edge for the original chrome trim, first the guy said 450.00 then he said oh wait its on sale, I got tired of looking at a rusty heavy hood,i'll make sure to coat the inside of the doors with oil then tar the insides, thats a nice Mach in the pics, scoops do look nice on the hood, but if i had a scoop that big i woud have cats in my engine, but it does make it look mean, I think the original 429 boss hoodscoop was a little lower,,,i heard yearone is making 67 mustang fastback complete kitcars?they also make 69 camaros, and 57chevies,it would piss me off if they come out with a 69 mustang replica, ford has copied it too much with the new 05 stangs, i hate copycats, does it piss you guys off they do that?maybe its just me
