i went from a 4 on 4 1/2 to a 5 on 4 1/2, im thinking of running a 14x6 w/ 195/60-14 on front and a 16x7 w/ a 225/60-16 on rear. any one know if this will work without doing any more mods than ive already done (rear end and front spindles off 77 granada) car was originally a 6 (200)

195s on front no problem--225/60/16 may be tight for the rear fenders--I've had 235/60/15 on one before,it was tighter than I liked to run,scrubbed every once in a while,but with the right offset wheel it may be OK

Hey 66w/son,
I have a 65 6 cyl 4 lug car and was thinking of converting it to 5 lug for more wheel options and disc brakes in the front. What was the prossess in the change over? Is there anything I need to watch out for?
Did you get a V8 rear or somthing else?

i put 78 monach spindles calipers and rotors on front (you will have to trim stock steering stops about a 1/2 in ) and us 78 monach outer tie rod ends they will screw right into the stock adjuster. the rear end came out of a 77 granada 355 gears will bolt right up you will have to use stock shock mount and drill out u-bolt holes and use 77 granada u-bolt the rims and tire i asked about will work fine. yes i did put a v-8 in 302 had to use change over frame mounts (mustangsunlimited.com). if you have any more questions or need any advice email me at cbrf4bill@insightbb.com
