Question Where to find good fiberglass cowl hood ?

Ok guys, I now know there are no steel hood cowls for 1968. but can you please let me know who makes a good fiberglass cowl hood (2"-3"). And please dont say UP22.com. lol I used one of their hoods..and they are trash.
So throw them at me, who has used a fiberglass hood and where from? I dont want anything that will become flexible from heat, thats what the up22 hood did.
Thanks

Mustangs Plus(or is it Unlimited-I get them mixed up sometimes) Has all sorts of goodies for older 'Stangs like the hood you're looking for. They don't make it,but they supply it and can probably help you out.

Mustangs plus and Musgtangs unlimited both carry cowl hoods. Year one is also a good place to look for hoods.

I have heard good things about maier, you can order from their website Welcome to Maier Racing. They are a little more expensive but you get what you pay for. Also they have a more subtle 2.5" cowl instead of the 3.0 and 3.5 from mustangs plus.

I agree with zmanm3 about maier racing. I sold a new shelby kit from one of the parts houses to a not so picky individual and reordered from maier. A superior fit.
