Guy Doesn't have title

Hey guys, i'm looking into buying a 1969 Mach 1 to restore, it's just a rolling body i believe but it's in good condition. But he doesn't have a title for the car so what would i have to do in this case to get one?

You should call the DMV to see what your State regulations are. They vary from state to state. There is usually a form that has to be filled out by the owner or last known registerer of the vehicle.

Failing that, there's always Broadway Title or International Title Service. $150 will get you a title.

You can check the Texas DMV website to see if they have any info, Texas Vehicle Registration & Titling - TX Car Registration Guide - DMV.ORG I have to go to work so I didn't have time to go through it. If you do have questions you'll have to call like mentioned above.

Some states also don't issue titles for vehicles of this age. CT is one of them. If I went to sell my '68 I have no title and also no way the DMV would give me one. Ct is bill of sale only for older vehicles.
