Default 67 Mustang won't fire

After having the core tested (good) and the control module (twas bad), it still won't fire. Cranks just fine but no fire. It has an electronic ignition (not points) if that's any help. The core will not fire after testing it by removing the wire from the distributor cap and cranking it by bypassing the silinoid whild holding that end of the wire up to valve cover to see if there's a spark- no spark. I don't know what else to test/replace. The motor is a 302 HO from an 84 model stang.
Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Did you have the key in the "run" position, when you were cranking her over from the 'noid?
I'd double check the wiring between the Duraspark box, and the ign. switch, as well as between the box and the solenoid. It took me a couple of tries to get it right on my '68. I used a schematic from a Haynes manual for the '70-'93 Stangs.
Maybe the pickup in the dizzy is bad?
Also, don't forget that the HO uses the 13726548 firing order.
