MSC,
http://www1.mscdirect.com/cgi/nnsrhm?KNC-T7L391316886 , has 3/16" stamps. I replaced my fender apron 2 years ago and didn't stamp it at that time. I ordered the 3/16" stamps , numbered and letter plus a star stamp from them a few months ago. I did order a star stamp from ebay awhile ago and it's identical to the one I got from MSC. Next time I have the fender off I'll restamp the VIN (which I should add, is legal in CT for restoration and repair purposes only).
When restamping it, lay a piece of masking tape on the area to use as a straight edge to line up the stamps.
