Default Cost of replacing windows

anyone have an idea on the cost of replacing the glass in a 68 mustang coupe w/vinyl top? I need all the glass replaced, Ds/Ps/Vent/Rear quarter and rear windshield.

There's alot of variables here, you would be best to get quotes for this.

Depends on if you want clear or shaded (tint), how much of the work you want them to do (will you remove all the interior panels for access or have them do that), the labor rate of the shop/glass company, thier supplier prices for the glass and weatherstrip that may need replacement, and any other expenses that may be incurred.

Don't quote me on this but the glass itself will run a few hundred plus with installation you're probably looking at $1000 or more. Like I said you really need to get quotes for a better idea.

Not sure what's wrong with your current glass but if you find the price too steep you may want to only do part of it now and then another part later on. Like getting the vent and door glass replaced now and waiting on the rear quarter and rear window later on.

Hopefully a 1969 convertible or Sportsroof (non Mach or Boss) for next Mustang project

Trying to find my father's 1973 Mustang Grande he bought brand new. 3F04F126773 last known registration and title was in New Jersey, 1982.

installation is the kicker. find a reputable glass shop and let them do it. if they break it, THEY buy the new one.

glass however is no too pricey for a coupe. mustangsplus.com has a glass kit that has every piece you need for about $450 bucks. Not to pricey at all in my opinion.

Send me an email. I have the tinted glass for a coupe packed and ready to ship. I do not have the rear window but that is available. My glass is in the frames so you could do it yourself. The window glass requires removal of the panels, disconnecting the regulator, removing the beltline, and discoonecting the glass from the regulator channel. The vents are easy. The quarter windows are not too bad. I've never done the back window.
