Default 1965 Inline Six Drivetrain. How much can I get?

Im relatively new to the classic world, and haven't really learned much about prices on this stuff yet, and was wondering what you guys think I could get for a complete, running inline 6 drivetrain, including the complete motor, all original, the tranny, and the rear, all in good functioning order. Any thoughts are appreciated!

Wait for a classic mustang car show, and see what they are going for; or go look on e-bay and see how much they are going for if u don't see any just look every other day someone will eventually be selling one.

Is the transmission manual or auto? Do you have an idea of the mileage? I have a 65 convertible w/a 200 I-6 and I'm always interested in possible extra parts, especially since we are on the same side of the country

You might also want to see what you can learn from the Ford Six forums. There are a lot of knowledgeable folks there that are happy to answer questions about Ford inline engines.

im not really sure of the mileage. I bought the car and it was already a project in progress i guess. I have the original speedo' i think, but i'll have to find it. It is an automatic, and from what i've been told (but cannot verify) the motor was freshly rebuilt in about 1988, then it sat and hasnt been started since. We are working on starting her up soon, but it is definately not seized up, and turns very freely by hand. My dad was thinking about putting it in his '51 Merc, but we arent sure about the fabrication involved...
