Thumbs up Up grade for my 66 mustang

I hope this helps with some of the cooling problems I've seen.

I purchased this insert for my 66 from Undercover Innovations. The insert prevent hot air from washing back over the radiator from the engine side. And keeps max air flow into the front of the radiator. Plus it covers up that hole behind the grill, and makes a great place to lay tools.

Cost is $50 each for the blank one, black or clear anodized coating. They have different ones at different cost. Check out undercoverinnovations.com

I first saw the insert on E-bay but missed the auction. Emailed then direct they worked with me and billed thru PayPal.

I got two, one for the wife's mustang, one for my Chevelle, had both installed in about in about three hours.

They give you a breif set of instructions. The Mustang took a little longer. Because you will need to relocate the horns. I moved mine out to the hood latch bracket. I also had to rotate the horn on its bracket to make it sit right against the grill. Also had to extend the wire to the driver's side horn. You will need to remove the rubber insert from the core support and re-route the wire thru the radiator opening.
Both cars were easy to do.
