You could request a Marti Report from Marti Autoworks to find the build info and options on your car.
Sounds like someone's personal mods to me though. 40 years is a long time for things to happen to a car.

Marti report is the way to go. Didn't think that they went that far back though. Too many want-a-be/clones out there. Even not orginal, ought to be one hell of a ride!

67 is the limit. Everything prior to that FoMoCo destroyed in about 1972
The June 2007 issue of Hot Rod magazine has a small article on page 56 and 57 that may be of interest. The article talks about the LeMans winning Ford Mk. IV GT of 1967. The car is in the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. It is in the exact same condition in which it won at LeMans, with one exception: The 427 side oiler engine is not the original. After the race, it is said the winning engine was removed and dynoed. Where the engine went after that ,it is rumored, was that it was installed in a new, for then, 1967 Mustang for the teenaged son of a Ford executive.
After the dyno run the engine was found to be "just nicely broken in". The Mk. IV was driven to the LeMans win by A. J. Foyt and Dan Gurney.
The Marti reports are available for the year 1967 and I think you may want to get one. You never know.
