Thumbs up Beautiful G.T. 350H

Yesterday at a car show I saw the most beautiful G.T. 350H that I have ever seen. (BTW I believe this is the one of the biggest car shows that happens every week, usually 600+ cars on a slow night, 800 on a very good night!) I never knew that supercharging was a factory option! Which this one had!! The restoration had been done over 25 years ago so you could see where some of the paint was cracking but other than that. But that older restoration only added to the personality of the mustang. That was probably the best looking, factory original classic mustang that I have ever seen. I have only seen 6 G.T. 350H's. Though I am still young. So I thought that I would share this encounter with you! Also how many of these mustangs have you seen during your travels? Too bad I didn't have the camera with me.

I've seen quite a few and those Shelby GT350 had a Paxton option alright. My big Mustang moment came when a Boss 429 blew by me on the way to a show. The guy actually DROVE it and he became my hero for driving that car the way it was intended. It's just wrong when a car like that is tucked away in a hermedically sealed bubble never to be seen again unless you wear lab suits and have a Presidential order to get within 10 feet of it.

HEH nice point, I mean what is the point of locking up a car and just TELLING people about it. I mean it is one thing to have the car, but another thing to actually enjoy it and drive it, something especially as rare as BOSS 429! And By the way, the 350H had a ford supercharger. I mean WHO KNOWS what could be tucked away in some peoples garages!

i completely agree. Car were meant to be driven, and not driving them is a disgrace.

I know the feeling I was doing about 95 when I was overtaken by a supercharged GT350 on the left and a big block boss on the right it felt like I was standing still as they disapeared off ahead

Even rarer, I was at a show in Anahiem and a guy pulled up in a Shelby GT350R, maybe one of 30 or so. He wasn't even showing it, he was dropping something off for a friend. It was the baddest Mustang I've ever seen or heard. Paul

Thats part of why I wanted to go the restomod route, I wanted a cool muscle car that I can drive around as a daily driver which is what it will be.

Yeah but it seems that when cars get older like all things pushing them so hard can destroy the car. Sure when they were new they could race a round all they want but these cars are going on be 40 years old now. I really want a 67 fastback but if I am using it for racing it might get destroyed pushing it beond its limits try to keep up with a newer mustang so I thought the best thing to do is to buy a 67 body frame from year one and build it the exact way they where in 67 and it will be a new car so It could preform.

Thats just my 02 cents
