Default 1967 Mustang Interior colors?

Hello, I am a Mustang rookie. I have a 67 lime gold coupe, with Ivy gold interior. (code 2G) I want to put in new carpet. I'm told Ford sometimes used Moss Green carpet, and sometimes used Ivy gold carpet? Is this true.
If I buy restoration paint or dies, what color should the dash be? or what color should the steel on the doors be?
So many options (green medium, light ivy gold, medium ivy gold, dark ivy gold, moss green, etc.) This will never be a show car, I just want it to look respectable. Thanks,

Hiya and welcome. And like krankie said, if you're not going for a 100 point resto, just go with any color you like and make it yours. But I can also see wanting the original color too. Check with a major Mustang parts supplier and they should be able to tell which one you need.

Thanks guys, I have no problem with picking out my own colors, I would just like to know what's correct. The other problem is that the catologs don't usually show a sample of the color, they just use the description, but I don't know what's what.

Hello. It should look like this. This is a 65, but the colors on this car's interior are the same as what yours should be, and personally, I think that this looks pretty nice. Hope that helps.
