Default 1966 Mustang looking for good Riverside, Ca Shops.

I just purchased a 1966 Ford Mustang and looking for good reliable shops in the Riverside/Inland Empire, Ca area.

Also looking for help in troubleshooting the fuel gauge for my 66 Mustang. The guage doesn't read at all. Always shows on "E" when the tank is full.

I'm a novice when it comes to being a mechanic, but want to try and do some work myself along with locating a good shop.

Thanks
Rob

I can personally recommend the following two Mustang shops in your area. Both shops specialize in top quality Classic Mustang service and repair. Mustang Country also has one of the country's most complete inventory of Classic Mustang parts and are absolutely great to deal with. They also know Classic Mustangs inside and out!

G'day Rob

fairly common problem

first check the wires are conected to the gauge & sender and are making good contact.

to check the gauge remove the wire that goes to the sender and momenterily short that terminal to earth the needle should go to full position & return if this happens the problem is the sender or wireing between

hope this helps

Depends on what you need.

I own a '72 coupe and live in Riverside. I have gone to Dave's Wheel and Alignment for some major front-end suspension work and they were great. Riverside Carb. and Electric is also a good place, although rather pricey. The only shop I have been too that I did not like was Ed Martin's. They were ridiculously overpriced and did not want to work on my car because I was not taking it up to show quality.

If you have a copy of the Yellow Page's sort through and visit some of these places, it's what I did. Best of luck to you!
