I found an all original 1969 fastback with the 351 engine and a/c. No rust and one owner. I don't have info on the trans but I was wondering if 10000 is out of line for a purchase price. I am calling on the experts here at AFM

For a standard 1969 fastback, not a Mach 1, Boss, Shelby, or Grande, a $10000 asking price would mean it'd have to be classified as "very good" condition. That means it would be a complete operable original or an older restoration. Also, a very good amateur restoration, all presentable and serviceable inside and out. Plus, a combination of well done restoration and good operable components or a partially restored car with all parts necessary to complete and/or valuable NOS parts.

Do you homework first, ensure that the numbers all match, and that you have crawled under the car to see what the undercarriage is like.
