I was wondering how much value is placed on the original sales form, repair records, original owners manual stuff like that.

Most collectors treat those items like gold. All the original documentation can boost the value way up to a lot of them. If you have these things, keep them.

It all depends on the buyer. I've sold Mustangs to people who don't give a rat's patootie about the paperwork, but wanted the trophies the car had won (?!?!?!?!), and Iv'e sold Mustangs where all they were interested in was the car as it stood there!

Some folks care,some don't. If you have it, keep it someplace dry and out of the light as much as possible. If you're interested in getting a complete repro of your cars paperwork, check out (correct me here if I'm wrong, gang) Martis autos. This guy has EVERYTHING as far as Ford records from 1967 on...
