Default 1965 Mustang mileage

I recently fell in love with a 65 mustang i saw for sale. The owner told me she had a put a new 302 in it. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what kind of gas mileage it will get?

It depends on if it is a 2V carb, or a 4V carb. or a new 302 fuel injected motor. Any modifications that have been done to the motor will affect mileage.

My '65 fastback (4V carb./3spd.) averages 18.2mpg if I don't hot dog it. 12-13mpg if I drive like I want to.

My 1964 1/2 stang with a new 302 and a 4v 650cfm carb gets about 12mpg in the city(I'm very lead footed) and on the highway i get about 18-23 and does around 3,000rpms at 65mph with a three speed auto i hope that helps
