Default My plans for the future

I guess I’m just posting this for opinions and advice of what you think about the whole thing. Well here goes. My plans are I want to find or order one of those 67' fastback shells which I think would be the best way to go and then build the car to the way it would have been some forty years ago and then beyond that I want it to be a 10 second car with a 460 Crate SuperCobraJett in it. I know its going to cost lots of money but when I can do this I don't wont hold anything back I want to use the best of the best. I also want this Mustang to be street legal as well with some Chrome Torque Thrust II's with a black exterior but the appearance is besides the point and isn’t the main concern. Here is my other thing. Its going to take lots of money to do this so I could wait to I’m around like 30 years old and have a career and crud like that and then work on all of this but the thing is I want to have a sporty car to in the mean time and enjoy my young years and not waste them away. But then again the cost of a V8 in southern California is not the cheapest thing to do either. So at this point I’m almost at a stand still. I have my father who is an automotive mechanic for over 30 years and I know he knows what he's doing so I’d like him to help me with all of this but by the time I’m thirty he is going to be to old probably but I guess I could take some classes to and he could give me instructions but I'm not sure what I should do I hope this was not to confusing to read but all inputs are welcome.
I want my mustang to be perfect. But I’m stuck. At this time I am only sixteen. Still in high school. Well I guess that’s all for now wait but also I want to keep that mustang for life. Not sell it in some seven years. And also marriage and things like that I hate to be selfish but I am going to put myself first. But anyway thanks for all the advice views and input all of you people have to say to me.

Hello. So, a V8 isn't exactly cheap in SoCal? Would you like to hear about something else that isn't cheap? Insuring a teen-ager with a death trap like that. You would probably be better off taking the money for that car and using it for the down payment on a house, because the monthly house note, taxes and insurance payments would be cheaper than the monthly car insurance payments. And that would certainlty facilitate locating that wife that you mentioned. That's why some birds build their nest first. ' Hey, baby. How do like my spiffy looking nest? Built it with my own beak.' You can have a nice car without it being a budget- buster. Good luck.

You have a good point about the house but then again it is my dream car and I guess I will be doing this at around 30 so I wont be a teen anymore by that time but I really don't know what to do.

$10 also says you will not be able to get a dynacorn body on the road with anything less than 2007 emission standard passing marks.

Yeah nothing wrong about dreaming but being realistic what i have seen out of a few car builds. Is whatever budget you have you always spend double that on the car.Why a 460 why not stroke it. You can get a world man o war 460 small block 600hp 575 foot pounds for about 10k for a crate engine. All the power and a less weight.

Stroke meaning the stroke of the engine bore x stroke = displacement so longer stroke bigger displacemant the svo 460 block from ford can be made in to a 806 ci.
