Question Looking to buy this 1965 Mustang. Need advise! Worth the money?

Thinking about buying this mustang for $6,300. Any second opinions would be appreciated.

- 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe
- street heat suspension kit installed
- fiberglass hood and front apron
- engine is a 289 v8 with an electronic ignition
- 3 speed manual transmission
- floor pans have been replaced with new ones
- original brakes

As far as I can tell the two rear quarter panels have been replaced. The repaint job is decent 10 feet away but could use repainting with some bondo to fill in some imperfections. I believe this use to be a six cylinder car. This 289 runs pretty good and starts great, but smokes a little white smoke an also has a slight ticking sound coming from the right side of motor

VIN Number: 5r07c125466

So what do think??? Good or bad investment!

Hello. That car originally came with a 289 2bbl. It looks a little rough for that price. I would expect the interior and the engine bay area to look a little nicer, but, if the runs ok and doesn't have any rust issues, that's not not bad. Hope that helps.

Thank you all for your advice!!! It would be a cool winter project to keep me busy. Will see if he comes down on the price a little.
