Default 66 Ragtop - different car this time...

I have a chance to pick this thing up for probably something in the low-20's. Think it's worth it? It's an original, numbers matching car (minus the cloth) with the optional AC, Power Steering and lighted front emblem. It had a repaint/restore 4.5 years ago and this is the current shape. I haven't seen it in person but will tomorrow. According to the 73 year old owner, it's in 100% perfect mechanical shape, starts on the lightest flick of the key and he wouldn't think twice about getting in and driving it from one coast to the other.

I'm looking for a purchase for my dad as a retirement gift and he'd kill for a red mustang with a white ragtop and I want one mechanically sound.

Let me know what you think.
