I would try the left door penal. But I'm not 100% sure.

Hello. On a 67, the number is stamped on the body in three places. If you open the hood and look on the driver's side, you will see 6 bolts holding the edge of the fender to the car. There will be a step in the edge of the fender. The number is stamped there. The other two places you have to remove the fenders to see. On a 68, there is a tag riveted to the front of the dash, right up to windshield. It is also stamped in two places, but again, you have to remove the fenders to see it. The local police can run the number to see if it has been stolen. Hope that helps.

Hi again. Here's where they are. The two places on the driver's side are for both years. The tag on the dash is 68 only, and the on the passenger side there should be one. Here's your picture with some additions. Hope that helps.

TonySkate, there is no need to apologize for your English. Be proud of the fact that you know two languages. A lot of people only know one language and they don't know it very well either.

Good Luck, ---Chuck

Once you find the vin take it to the dmv or have a cop run it to see if its stolen.
