Default Should I disconnect front dash speaker?

Hello, I will be installing a new sound system in my 68 mustang.
The question I have is do I need to disconnect the front dash speaker when hooking up the new kick panel and rear deck speakers? The front dash speaker is an aftermarket dual cone which replaced the original mono speaker. Should this be disconnected?

Thanks

Depends on how many speaker wire leads your head unit has if you can hook them all up go for it.

I do have the leads for it but its not a high power speaker and the radio is a 200 watt system. I don't know if it will blow and or make the dash rattle. Is this speaker typically used or should I just stick to the kick panel and rear deck speakers. Also what is the best way to mount the rear deck speakers. Once I cut out the holes for the speaker, what is the best way to keep them in place?

Default What are your other speakers?

What are your other speakers?
If your other speakers are 100W or something, you may not want to use that dash speaker - I think they are only 25 - 35 Watts - It will be quickly overcome and you won't really be able to utulize the other speakers without it getting blown out.
