Default 1965 Mustang with electrical issues

I noticed when I bought my car a few months ago that the radio, interior lights and headlights would flicker about every 30 seconds or so. In fact the radio would go out and the immediately come back on. The wipers have never worked either. I thoguth no biggie b/c the car drove great and it didn't take away from the engine. Last night I was driving and all of a sudden a big spark comes from underneath/around the ignition. Then I notcied that my entire instrumental panel went out (except for the speedometer), as well as my blinkers now do not work. Does anyone know what this was caused by and how much trouble is it to fix? Is this a circuit breaker issue behind the ignition switch? I am not sure how the previous owners installed the radio and also the fog lights. Thanks for any help and it's kids freaky driving down the road and seeing this big blue spark light up the entire car ha.

Hello My first guess would be that the nut that's supposed to be holding all of those wires onto the back of the ignition switch is either very, very loose or missing entirely. All of the systems that you mentioned are supposed to be getting their power from there, so if the wires are just sort of hanging there and bouncing around, that would cause what you describe, but, without being able to actually check the car out, that's really just a guess. Hope that helps.
