Default 1969 mustang vin location help

hello, as this is my first thread and I will get to the point

I have just saved a 69 fastback from going to the crusher, it is a striped out hot rod that needs work in the worst way. I am familiar with the cowl, apron locations and the door, I need to know where the stamping marks are for the vin locations at the other 3 locations in or under the car as i have been told by a couple of people.

I basically got this car for the price of scrap metal and want to put it back on the road and not the race track that it has been at for awhile. I took a chance with getting a bill of sale with no vin data at all.

can someone please help me before i go dumping alot of $$$$$ into this resto project as this is a fastback, it has the 4 speed plate on the rail, but i need to find out how to find or get a vin for this car so i can get it on the road again

you can go to your state trooper, police or highway patroll and / or dmv can do a vin verication if there is one left on car,if none are left on it you can get a issued id, it wont be a ford style vin,if they can find one they can install a vin decal on door post, hope this helps, good luck, let me know , big G

There are no hidden VINs under or in other spots than what you know of with a Mustang of this vintage, not like a newer car.

The only spots for a VIN on a 69 body would be the door, cowl, and apron/shock towers. The engine may have had a full or partial VIN stamped in it too but that's most likely gone or not original with having a race history.

Hopefully a 1969 convertible or Sportsroof (non Mach or Boss) for next Mustang project

Trying to find my father's 1973 Mustang Grande he bought brand new. 3F04F126773 last known registration and title was in New Jersey, 1982.
