Hi to all out there. I am in the process of restoring a 67 coupe and am at the rewiring stage, ugh, and now am putting the brake switch in. Not sure how it mounts though...I found the old one on the back side of the pedal and put the new one in the same spot. But it wont work, but it does work when off the pedal and energizing it from under the dash

Hello. It should be mounted with the master cylinder push rod sitting between those two little tabs sticking out of the switch and the place where you plug the wire connector should be pointing toward the driver. Hope that helps.
