Default 1965 Mustang rear end.

I have a 65 Mustang I changed the engine from a I6 to a V8 I need a rear end now. Would a rear end out of a 1995 Explorer with a v6 work?
Or where else should I look for a decent rear end?

Default rear end swap

Check on ebay, sometimes you will run across one. You will need axles too. I did the v8 swap on my 65, as well. I bought my 8 inch rear end from a guy in Jacksonville, Fl. that owns a mustang junkyard and he has a web site. It was $500 total. Unless you can cut and modify a rear end, the best way is to find a 65 or 66 v8 mustang rear end or maybe a falcon and swap it out. You could also buy a new one, try Currie axles.
