I am thinking about tossing some aftermarket gauges in a 65 GT Bezel. Does anyone know how big the openings are? Thanks for the help!

Use a tape measure.

Hello. The size of the gauges isn't what will be the problem, it's the way that they attach to the instrument pod. Most of the after market gauges, like Stewart/Warner or Autometer have a U shaped bracket that holds them on, like on an old Ferrari or something. The Ford gauges are held on by nuts on the two studs that the wires hook to. You would have to do some 'modifications' on the instrument pod itself to use it with most other gauges. Hope that helps.

Hi again. It appears that I omitted that particular bit of information. The opening in the bezel face itself, where the clear plastic lense is, is about 1 11/16.
