Default Going disc/rotor question for 1971 Mustang

I've got a 71 Grande Coupe that has front disc and rear drums. I was wanting to go with all disc setup and looking into the vintagevenom kit for the rear. Just wondering if I order the rear and get the suggested 94-04 cobra brake rotors would those rotors fit the front of the car as well with the stock disc brakes?

Id rather buy from cobrabrakes vintagevenom has a huge spacer between the front hub and rotor that looks very unsafe.I doubt the 94 rotors will work with your front cailpers there too fat and too tall.

I think I am going to go with the suggested cobrabrakes in the rear but any options on what I could do up front?

Anybody know a place to locate 71 drum spindles and hubs?

Yes, you are right, the calipers and disc are the same, but the mounting brackets are different.
I have had mine installed for 5 years now.

They work great!

If I did cobra brakes in the rear they seem like they would work because it has drums in the back. But the front had OE Disc, how or what would be the best way to replace these? Hopefully with something such as a cross drilled rotor

Any of the aftermarket brake kits will replace your stock front discs.
You just have to decide how big of wheels that you want to run. Some kits will only work with bigger rims.
If all you are looking to do is replace your rotors with cross drilled ones then just order a set of rotors.
