Default 302 Cast Iron Heads

Looking to purchase a Pair of brand new high performance cast iron Ford cylinder heads by PROSTAR. Heads fit 289, 302, & 351W. Advanced port design for enhanced air flow. Stock intake and exhaust port location. .200” thicker deck surface for angle milling.

Details:
190CC intake runners
60CC combustion chambers
Heads are assembled with new 1.94 Stainless Steel once piece Intake valves
Heads are assembled with new 1.50 Stainless Steel once piece Exhaust valves
All 16 bronze guides
Heads are assembled with .600 lift valve spirings with hardened valve keepers
Heads are assembled with screw in studs and guide plates
Heads are assembled with new valve seals
Heads are complete and ready to install

Comes with full one year warranty

$630 Price

These heads will be placed with a combo of Rebuilt .030 to 306, 9.5:1, e303 roller cam and Hydralic Lifters, Double timing chain. Plan on Adding Dual plane intake, 600 Holey carb, and shorty headers.

Are these heads a good choice for the buck. On a tight budget and even thought of going with the Gt-40’s that are going for around $450. Would like to get around 300HP.

Well They Looks Good, But I'll Prefer To Go Aluminium, But If You Don't Have Enought Budget They Are Good For Now, That's About The Same The Machine Shop Charge Me For Do My Own Heads Work

That don't sound bad to me. Just as a reference. I had a nolead conversion, magnuflux, new guides,everything gone through 69 Boss 302 heads. Price-$1,100 just for the work. Already had the heads. You should reach 300 hp easily. Best of luck

bring yours to a good shop , just as good. write down the specs. tell them what you want. may be cheaper, and no shipping , local warranty..

Don't forget to change your distributor gear to a steel one for the roller cam.

Looks like a good deal. I'm running GT-40 cast iron heads and I personally don't think the added weight of the iron heads is much of a problem for a street driven car. I hope these heads work out for you, they should make for a sweet engine package.

I've got these heads...they're good heads for midrange performance, 350-375 HP depending on the rest of your setup.
One thing to think about...be sure to port match them to your intake manifold or at least check sizing; you don't want to alter the flow from your manifold into your intake runners .
