Default 1964 1/2 and 1965 Mustang pullies the same or not...

are the 64 1/2 and 65 mustang pullies the same width because I have change to an alternator and it doesnt seem to be lining up.Do i need to get 65 pullies for the waterpump and crank pulley.Thanks.

All my pullies are the dual set up and the alternator I have has a single pulley on it?

Hello. The pulleys are different. Your car would have originally come with a generator, aluminum water pump and probably cast iron pulleys. If you are running an alternater you will need to get the pulleys for a 65.Hope that helps.
