Default Anyone have tips for installing door weatherstripping? 1966 Mustang

I am about to replace the weatherstripping around the lower part of my doors (1966 coupe). It may be very simple, but I'm looking at a screw on each end and a long stretchy piece of rubber. It seems that if a guy wasn't careful he could get things a little out of whack by the time he reached the other end.
Any tips you may have that would make the job go a little smoother would be appreciated.

Default hope this helps

weatherstripping is a pain to be sure. it seems no matter how good you do it takes forever for it to conform. The best advice I have heard is to make sure you dont streatch it taught. Also on some occasions it requires adjustments to your door latch as the doors may not want to close at first until it conforms.
