Default Clifford Header Removal, 1966 Mustang

Hey guys - Im brand new on this forum and seem to have a really simple question to get things started - I am currently in the process of taking off my Clifford long body header. (1966 Mustang 200ci) Anyways - I got it all off and even took the starter off. but I can't get it out of the engine bay! I worked on it and tried to squeeze it out in different ways - going out the bottom and out the top. I know I am missing something - Anyone who has installed or removed one of these on an old 200ci - do you have any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum! This is a great place with lots of knowledgable folks that don't mind sharing what they know about classic Mustangs.

Does your Mustang have A/C installed? I've heard somewhere that it can be an issue when installing headers. You might also want to check out the Ford Perforamnce 6 Forum. This forum is dedicated to the Ford Six and they have a sub-forum dedicated to the 6-cyl Mustang. I'm sure someone there has an answer.
