Default 1967 Mustang GT Fog Light Problem

I installed GT fog lights and they appear to work fine until I drive the car. As I drive almost everytime I apply the brakes the fog lights go out. After about 15 minutes of driving the headlights and fog lights start to flicker and it looks like a strobe show. As soon I turn out the fog lights the headlights appear to function fine. Any idea what may be causing this? A bad ground on my fog lights? A bad headlight switch? Improper wiring? I am at a loss.

Thanks for any help you may provide!

The strobe is a sign of a bad headlamp switch, but you may want to double check your grounds first. Just make doubly sure they're clean and tight.

Thanks. The ground was my first thought also. I traced all of the lines and found no cuts and cleaned the ground connections to make sure. I'll do it again though. I'd hate to swap out the switch to find out it wasn't the problem. Another site brought up a possible problem with the alternator? Thoughts?

Thanks for your help.
