Default I got another question about the AOD Swap

ive got a 68 w/ a 302, I dont like having a C4 so i bought a AOD from a junk yard out of a 85 f150. I read that the truck transmission is stronger. Im wondering what kind of fly wheel I need to use. I have a 28oz 157 tooth that came with my engine, Ive read that ur supposed to use a 28oz 164 tooth but I dont want to go and buy one unless I have to. can some one whos done this swap give me some advice, mebey instead of some one giving me a link to a web site cuz trust me I ve looked at em all.

Yes you have to buy a flywheel a 28oz 164 tooth the one in your car won't work and the one from the wrong is too heavy.I know you can get it from Early Mustang AOD Conversion Kit, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973 i believe someone said summitracing or jegs had one too.
