Default Rear end swap?

I have a 1968 coupe (restomod) that I want to put 10" Torq Thrust II wheels on the back, but I don't want them to protrude outside the quarters. I also don't want the custom offset on the wheels because I want the deep look of the 10" wheel. I have plenty of clearance inside the wheel house to narrow the rear end 4". It will cost me over a $1000 to have the work done on my current 8". Is there another rear end that I could buy that would give me the narrower stance that I am looking for? I am not concerned with the strength or performance since this is a Sunday driver and local car show ride. Any information would be grately appreciated.

Jeff's right. Plus you can get disc brakes and not have to move the leaf springs. The last one I got from a junkyard was $150.00 disc to disc and was a bolt in. (after a minor rebuild)
