When setting up my 67 fastback 6 months ago, I wanted to get some Koni shocks. But my parts supplier, didn't have them, and suggested that Edelbrock gas shocks were cheaper, and were better performers. Now my car is 90% finished, and I am driving it really for the first time. At high speeds on the highway, if I hit a bump, or am running on a rougher surface, the car feels 'boaty', big long bounces, as if I hit a wave. When I hit a big enough bump, my rear tires even rub. Is this just what I should expect from a Mustang?, or could this be those shocks? I am running an RRS rack and Pinion, so the steering is pretty tight. If it's not my shocks, could it be my springs?
Sounds like the shocks to me. Are they adjustable?
