Only that it's supposed to be available sometime this month. I'm looking forward to it.

Default vaporizer 1100

Well, I bit the bullet and ordered the Vaporizer 1100 from PonyCarbs for my 65 coupe. I should have it sometime early in August and I will post my experience as it unfolds. I have been jacking with the old 1100 for many years and hope this carb is all they say it is. They were real helpful on the phone and answered all of my questions. Anyone else have one installed yet?

I've almost talked myself into purchasing one. Check out the good discussion about this carb on the Fordsix forum:

Fordsix Performance :: View topic - Pony Carbs Autolite 1100 1v annular discharge?

I'm also ordering a Clifford exhaust port divider today.

Please let us know haw things go after your installation!

All the Best

Default Pony Carburetors, great deal

About three months ago, I sent my Autolite 1100 to Pony Carburetors for a full restore; the unit I got back looked something totally different from the one I sent. They did an amazing job!! Not to mention that it runs smooth.

Totally in favor of using their services in the future

It's September 17th and I finally received the Vaporizer 1100 that I ordered in July! It took about 70 days. I have decided to also replace the fuel tank and I should get it by tomorrow. I will be removing the old canister fuel pump for a good clean and flush. The DVD that came with the carb is very informative. It's a bit long but a good tool. I'll keep you all informed of my progress.

Default 1100

bought the 1100 vaporizer from pony carbs. waited six weeks, got the carb car ran terrible. sent it back waited another five weeks. called emailed. then one day jon called from pony carbs told me everything i did not want to here. was told i did this wrong and that wrong, told me my engine was wore out. timing out of wack, asked him why the old carb i put back on ran ok, he could not answer that . told me the carb i sent back was just great. long story short 2 days later called said he was sorry for everything and 3days later i recieved a tolaly different carb than the one i sent back with free shipping put it on moved the distrib. alittle like the dvd said car runs great, go figure. i think the first one was bad or wrong? alot of bull for 400.00 but ok now that summer is over.

I bought mine from www.dallasmustang.com for $390. They still had to put the order into Pony Carbs, and it took 6 weeks just like everybody else, but there cost was a little cheaper and what they charged me for shipping was cheaper than Pony Carb's store. Got it, watched the DVD, installed it in probably 15 minutes. Adjusted the timing like he shows in the DVD and the car runs great.
