I am doing my first oil change on my 1972 Mustang Mach 1 and I wanted to know what kind of oil should I use? Whether I should use synthetic like Royal Purple or a regular Motor Oil. Please let me know what I should use, as well as your opinions of oils to use.

I don't think it makes a lot of differance, my self I have been using Mobil 1 in my work truck and personal cars including my 1972 mach 1. More importantly I think you sould pick a high quality oil and stay with it.

Yeah that's what I want to do. Just upgrade to a top quality synthetic and keep with it
