Default Rearend swap from 1976 granada to 1968 mustang.

I have a 68 mustang that is a 6 cyl car with a 3 speed mal trans. I have a 1976 ford granada with a 302 v8 and a 3 speed mal trans can I take the granada motor and trans and put them in my mustang ok? And can I put the granada rearend in my mustang? Will it fit without having to change, cut, or rebuild anything? Will the frontend fit as well? thanks for the help.

As far as i know the rear end will fit but its a tiny bit not wide enough your rear wheels will look sunk in but a small wheel spacer can fix that. The spindles will fit but you need to use the granada tie rod ends or MustangSteve's Tie Rod Adapters and Lower Ball Joint Adapters for Installation of Granada or Versailles Disc Brakes on 65-73 Mustangs

The engine will need a suspension upgrade, kits are available from places like NPD, etc.
The tranny will fit fine
The rear-end, ehhhh, I dunno, but I agree with andrew, but you will most likely have to do some modification, is it a 9"?
