Default 1967 Mustang Driver Window problems

I am having a problem with my 67 mustang that i just finished restoration on. the problem I am having is the driver door window goes up to high in the rear. i think I may be missing a part that stops the travel?

Sounds to me like your window regulator needs to me adjusted,

In this forum site, go to "classic talk", scroll down to the post DOOR WINDOW HELP ( about ten posts down). Open, go to the response by Veronica, and click on the website stated there. although it's specifically for 65-66, I'm sure you can use it for your 68. By the way Veronica is a GREAT, KNOWLEDGEABLE source on classic Mustangs. Don't be afraid to ask her questions or take her advice.
Another option is to buy a Shop Manual for your car. It'll have ALL steps to do the repairs you will have to do on your Mustang covered!!! I use mine constantly. You'll never regret the money you have to pay for it.

I just spent about 10 hours trying to line mine up. I changed over to Sun X recently. Make sure all three little countersink screws are holding the bottom window bracket to the main frame. There should also be a couple of adjustment screws toward the rear. They MUST go through the appropriate holes in the door. Double check that your window guides are all in the guides as well.
