Hi, Just trying to find someone with experience mounting the old 3 bar pony emblem after I replaced my grille with (Mustang Center-Light Factory Style Grilles) from StreetScene or Blue Oval Ind. etc. The grille is open like mesh even though it is black plastic. My emblem has two posts and screw on nuts for the back of the emblem.
My main problem is finding a good procedure to use through the grilles with large holes in them. There are pictures all over the net although I do not know how they mounted any of the emblems well. I really do not think using double sided tape is a good idea.
Someone help me out if you have run into this problem. There are pictures of Mustangs,GT350, Gt500 and cobras everywhere.
